The Cadence® USB 3.0, DisplayPort Type-C Subsystem IP brings under one hood all the revolutionary functions available for USB subsystems – USB Type-C™ connector support, USB Type-C Alt-Mode for DisplayPort™ and Power Delivery control. Targeted at the next generation of customer devices, it brings a yet unachieved level of convenience and user experience directly to your system on chip (SoC).

Targeted at the emerging USB Type-CTM connector applications, the Cadence USB 3.0, DisplayPort Type-C Subsystem IP provides the necessary functionality to enable Type-C connector support, Type-C DisplayPort Alt-Mode, and Power Management IC control through support for USB Power Delivery 2.0.

The Cadence USB 3.0, DisplayPort Type-C Subsystem IP is an integrated solution that combines the Cadence USB 3.0, DisplayPort Type-C PHY IP with several controllers – the Cadence USB 3.0 Dual Role Device Controller IP, the Cadence USB Type-C Port Controller IP, and the DisplayPort-optimized Cadence HD Display Controller IP.
