AFE IP

Cadence® analog front end (AFE) IP combines cores from a portfolio of more than 250 analog IP cores, including analog-to-digital converters (ADCs), digital-to-analog converters (DACs), phase-locked loops (PLLs), oscillators, and other IP, into a single, hardened IP core for specific applications. 

A single, hardened AFE IP block eliminates the need to select each component individually, integrating the divergent individual block requirements, and eliminating the issue of degrading the performance of the overall AFE. Cadence AFE IP combines the best analog-to-digital converters (ADCs), digital-to-analog converters (DACs), PLLs, and other logic in a single hardened IP. Ideal solution for user applications that require higher throughput requirements.
