Some of the Companies that Use Cadence's DPUs for Wireless Applications

NTT DOCOMO NTT Docomo led the design effort with Fujitsu, NEC, and Panasonic to use multiple Tensilica DPUs in their LTE chip design. Smartphones and wireless modems are available in Japan with our DPUs inside.
Huawei Huawei is using DPUs for their LTE PHY baseband design.
DesignArt Networks The DAN 2400 Femtocell Processor and DAN2000 Series processors are based on 5 to 16 Xtensa® DPUs per chip for dataplane DSP and embedded control.
Qualcomm Atheros Qualcom Atheros uses DPUs in high-volume, ultra-low-power GPS, WiFi, and Bluetooth designs, including the AR6004/6005 and the AR30xx families of chips.
Ibiquity Ibiuity Digital Corporation is the patent holder and exclusive licensee of the HD Radio standard. Ibiquity is an IP Value Added Reseller of our technology, licensing an HD-Radio receiver IP block to semiconductor manufacturers. They use multiple DPUs.
